Ho99o9 at Sonia, Cambridge, 2017
Saw the coolest, most innovative, heavy as hell, and disturbing (in a good way) band at Sonia in Cambridge last Saturday night. They're called Ho99o9. It's experimental hip-hop and hardcore punk with performance art elements. I haven't been this blown away by a band, live in at least 10 years.
Celebrated my dad's 70th birthday this past weekend. Made a lot of pictures of people I love. Happy Birthday DAD!

It' my distinct honor to announce that I am working with The Shods, the great Rock N' Roll band from Lowell, MA. Kevin Stevenson and Scott Pittman are back with a whole new batch of classics.
I made the video for their new Kickstarter campaign, and I'm assisting in the creation and fulfillment of that campaign.
Kevin spent about 9 months living in a section of Athens, Greece known as Exarcheia. Exarchia is as a haven for Anarchists. Surrounded by cool people, (who the cops leave alone to put it mildly) and living in a completely different climate really invigorated Kevin's health and his song writing. Kevin suffers from multiple sclerosis and being in Exarcheia caused his symptoms to subside, leaving the opportunity and inspiration for a ton of new Shods songs!
"These are some of the best songs I've ever written," says Kevin.

You did a fantastic fantastic job on this project. Please save my email for any other projects you may do that requires any funding. I am so proud to have donated only a small amount for something that I feel is a superb creation. This story needed to be told and I owe you a debt of gratitude for telling it . Yesterday I turned 40 years old. I've been making a self portrait, basically in the same pose, since I was 21. Maybe next year I'll do a show of the pictures.
To celebrate my birthday, I asked one of my favorite bands if I could sing with them. They agreed. That band is called SCISSORFIGHT.

The blog posts have slowed down a little bit lately, due to my wife and I moving into our first home, which is by the water, south of Boston, where this picture was made. Pretty cool. I'm thinking I may make more South Shore night pictures in the future.
Also, here is a video I recently completed for the HAM PLAN. Austin Malleolo (who's starred in many of my recent videos for Whole Foods Market) is a big time CrossFit dude along with his good friend Spencer Hendel. Both of these gentleman repeatedly make it to the CrossFit games every year. The HAM PLAN helps you program CrossFit workouts based on your own strengths and weaknesses and allows you to work out with others, while simply tweaking the workouts to each persons needs. Pretty cool.
Still killing it with head shots over here. I worked with my man Johnny here the other day and I think his shots came out rad!
