Happy Labah Day! (As they say here in Boston). Speaking of labor, this is a picture I made of my father's garden about 12 years ago. My dad is a laborer, through and through. Working class New Englander, carpenter, the dude loves to work with his hands and build things, typically gardens. This is one of several gardens on a piece of property in my hometown, which has been in my dad's family since the 1800's. In fact, it was on this particular property that I promised to spend the rest of my life with my wife Jessica. So, in honor of my dad's labor, and the labor of all laborers, I give you this piece of my own labor and the opening post of my new photography blog.
